Die Konfiguration kann über den Assistenten für "Diagnoseprotokollierungseigenschaften verwalten..." vorgenommen werden. Dies ist eigentlich ein altbekanntes Feature aus vorigen Exchange Versionen.

What happens behind the scenes when synchronizing free/busy data between multiple Exchange organizations using GALsync?
When synchronizing different mail organizations GALsync reads the free/busy information of selected user objects in source and stores them in target as free/busy information related to the synchronized contact object.
GALsync does not sync free/busy every time it is modified in source. You might want to export free/busy times in a time window of minimal 5 minutes.

Outlook Web Access in Exchange 2010, seit kurzem von MS in Outlook Web Apps umbenannt, bietet eine Reihe von Features, die gerade für solche Unternehmen sinnvoll sind, die ältere Outlook-Clients verwenden oder viele bestehende OWA Nutzer im Vertrieb oder in Aussenstellen haben. Hier lohnt sich das Server-Upgrade nach Exchange 2010 ohne gleich die Clients migrieren zu müssen.
